Dancing Molecules (2024)
We are dancing molecules bonding in temporary patterns.”
Dancing Molecules is a digital essay on the ephemeral nature of our reality, including the matter that forms our anatomy and signs of identity.

Taking inspiration in dancing pirouettes and fashion design, floating figures dressed in contemporary patterns dissolve in ethereal gestures.
The 3D workflow is based in human models animated by hand, dressed up in clothes that simulate real garments physics.
Finally, a thermodynamic simulation is used to drive particles matching the colors of clothes and skin textures.

Careful attention to details in illumination, poses and textures has been observed throughout the ideation process.

Mauve (/ˈmoʊv/, mohv; /ˈmɔːv/, mawv) is a pale purple color named after the mallow flower (French: mauve).

The software used in the production is Cinema 4D, Octane Render, Daz Studio, Marvelous Designer, Turbulence FD, Xparticles and Adobe Suite.
